PSSLAI goes digital with EON - Leverages on the EON platform for loans disbursements

Public Safety Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (PSSLAI) has partnered with Union Bank of the Philippines, through EON, to provide its customers a safer and more convenient way to get their loan proceeds. Currently, PSSLAI's more than 250,000 customers have to go to bank counters to claim their funds.  Through the EON platform, customers will be given an electronic money account through which the loan will be disbursed. Each electronic money account comes with a PSSLAI VISA card which enables the customers to withdraw from the ATM or pay for purchases at merchant establishments.

"Our partnership with PSSLAI presents a great opportunity for us to extend our products and services to those working under the public safety sector. PSSLAI's mission of providing products and services with the financial well-being of the public safety personnel in mind is very much in line with our own strategy. We focus on helping our customers achieve their life goals and aspirations," said Kimberly Espiritu, Assistant Vice President and Communities and Linkages Head of EON.

"We are truly happy to cater to the needs of our partner. We are already moving forward by collaborating with PSSLAI to expand the products and services made available to their members. We are confident that this collaboration will continue to deepen for the benefit of PSSLAI's loyal members," said Paolo Baltao, Senior Vice President and EON Banking Group Head.

"After careful analysis of the solutions available in the market, I truly believe EON would be the best to partner with. This partnership not only makes our operations more efficient, but more importantly, makes our customers happy being with us," said PMGEN Lucas M. Managuelod (RET) F.I.C.D., Chairman and CEO at PSSLAI.
