PSSLAI Objectives

. Promote Business enterprise through low-interest loans
THE BIRTH OF PSSLAI
With the existence of various Private Lending Institutions (PLIs) and Savings and Loan Associations (SLAIs) that caters to the Philippine National Police and with the proliferation of numerous loan sharks in the community, the PNP leadership has been exerting its efforts to negotiate for a seat in the Board Composition of some leading SLAIs considering that PNP personnel are the majority members of these SLAIs. The continuous denial of some SLAIs to allocate a seat for PNP officials in their Board Composition pushed the PNP piloted by then PNP Chief Director General Hermogenes E. Ebdane and some PNP top officials in establishing a Savings and Loan Association exclusively for the PNP personnel.
